Brief: Explore a new brand direction for Skin Analytics, a healthtech company using AI to improve skin cancer detection.

Skin Analytics sits at the intersection of AI and healthcare—using machine learning to support early skin cancer detection. I was brought in to explore how their visual identity could evolve to reflect the credibility, precision, and potential of what they do.

Working closely with their internal consultant, I developed a series of design routes including:
– A refreshed logotype and core typographic system
– Visual language based on AI data clouds and skin mapping
– Digital concept mockups for web, app, and social
– Packaging and presentation systems
– A modular brand book to hold it all together

The direction was bold, graphic, and science-led—but the project was eventually shelved due to internal changes and timing.

Not everything makes it to launch, but the work still helped the team rethink how their brand could grow—and gave them a new foundation if and when they’re ready to revisit it.
