Vision to Value. Making business strategy visible.

Vision to Value is a strategic positioning consultancy working with founders, CEOs and investors to help businesses communicate what makes them different, connect with their audiences and unlock opportunities for growth.

I developed a distinctive visual identity and responsive website that reflected the consultancy's approach: clear thinking, confident communication and nothing unnecessary.

A brand built around clarity

The challenge was to create an identity that would appeal to a particularly demanding audience. Business leaders and private equity investors are used to making decisions quickly. They want substance, evidence and clear reasoning, rather than unnecessary decoration.

The brand needed to feel intelligent and credible without becoming another conventional corporate consultancy identity.

I explored four creative territories, each approaching the brief from a different perspective. The chosen direction brought together the authority of financial communications with a more contemporary, editorial approach to typography, colour and layout.

A confident visual identity

The identity combines a restrained wordmark with a bold electric blue, black and white colour palette. The typography creates an interesting contrast between expressive serif typography and clean, structured sans-serif text. Together, they give the brand personality without compromising its clarity.

A shorthand V–V signature offers a compact alternative for social profiles and other applications, while the wider graphic system provides plenty of scope for future communications.

I brought everything together in a set of brand guidelines covering typography, colour, graphic devices, layout principles and tone of voice.

Making the idea visible

At the centre of the identity is a simple graphic idea: turning complexity into clarity.

A series of parallel lines gradually changes in weight, position and spacing, moving from fragmented or irregular forms towards something more structured and resolved.

It's a visual expression of what Vision to Value does for its clients. Taking different ideas, perspectives and ambitions and bringing them together into a clear, compelling direction.

Rather than relying on one fixed graphic, I developed a family of variations that explore movement, progression and change. Each follows the same underlying principle, creating a flexible visual language that can work across the website, presentations, social media and other communications.

Taking the brand online

With the identity established, I designed and built a responsive website in Squarespace. The aim was to make the consultancy's offer easy to understand and provide a credible destination for founders, investors and business leaders looking to sharpen their positioning.

The website uses a direct, content-led approach. Clear navigation introduces the consultancy, explains its services and gives visitors access to case studies, insights and events. Generous space, considered typography and the distinctive colour palette carry the identity through the digital experience, allowing the messaging and content to do the work.

The result is a website that feels confident and considered, with the flexibility for the team to publish new content and develop the site as the business grows.

The result

A cohesive brand identity and digital presence that reflect the consultancy's own belief in the value of clear positioning.

From the restrained wordmark to the evolving line graphics, each element has a purpose. The system gives Vision to Value a recognisable personality while remaining focused on the people it needs to reach.

A brand built around a simple idea, with enough flexibility to keep moving forward.
